Dear iDEALS, the official opening was preceded by a dialogue about “Art & Fashion” with Viktor and Rolf led by Christiane Arp (Editor in Chief of Vogue Germany) and Werner Lippert (Director of the NRW Forum).
Germano Celant, Director of the Prada Foundation lectured about his view on the relationship of art and fashion. The official opening was followed by a cocktail accompanied by a musical performance by German band Kreidler.
The installation exists of 20 miniature porcelain dolls representing a selection of signature looks from their collections from 1992 until the present. The dolls are designed by Dutch architect and art historian Siebe Tettero.
